KLS Spokesperson Thomas Bosch talks to Kristin Surmann, ProTec Diagnostics

Thomas Bosch recently talked to Dr Kristin Surmann from the start-up company ProTec Diagnostics in Greifswald. As a co-owner of the biotechnology service provider that emerged from the University of Greifswald, Surmann provides valuable input on the aspect of spin-off companies and the transition from academia to business. Her company specialises in diagnostics and develops, among other things, standards and laboratory solutions based on recombinant protein production. The interview was recorded at the KLS-Retreat 2025 in November in Schleswig.
